CJ2’s mission is to fill an important gap in the industry by providing truly custom cabinets. Our core focus is to provide an incomparable experience for every client. We deliver outstanding design, and through exceptional service we deliver a quality product that’s truly custom. It’s not just custom cabinets – it’s a custom experience provided by experts who care about what they do.

Beyond constructing your cabinets, we also take care of the installation, hardware and everything else along the way. We will work with anyone, from a contractor to a designer to a customer with big plans for their home. And if you don’t have plans, we’re happy to help you design them.

The team at CJ2 has several decades of experience in custom cabinetry and installation – their expertise lies in providing a truly custom design for every client that works with their particular space. They know that a kitchen is about more than just the cabinets, and will work with clients, designers and contractors to make the finished product come to life.

Mark Dmytryshyn,
manager

Mark has more than 30 years of experience in the custom home interiors industry. He deals directly with the designers and clients CJ2 partners with, and then communicates with the CJ2 team to fulfill the designer’s vision. Mark also works with contractors to coordinate installations throughout the process. He has worked on a range of projects, with a focus on high-end, custom products for individual clients. His skill is in taking a design and making it a reality. Mark speaks the language of design, but also spends a lot of time in the shop, helping designs come to life.

Matthew Butterworth,
cabinet specialist

Matt began his work in cabinetry with a one-on-one apprenticeship with a master cabinetmaker. He spent three years learning custom cabinetry at Conestoga College earning his Red Seal Cabinetmaker designation. He has a diverse background that includes reproduction furniture, commercial cabinetry and home renovations. Since joining CJ2 in 2018, he has specialized in custom kitchens, honing his craft and enjoying the creative aspect of custom cabinetry. He brings a strong work ethic and meticulous attention to detail to every project he tackles, approaching every client’s vision with creativity and purpose.

Karen Jackson, office manager

Karen was born in Goose Bay, Labrador and moved in 1992 to the Ottawa area, which she now considers home. Karen is married and the mother to two wonderful teenagers. She’s worked with members of the CJ2 team for nearly two decades and continues to enjoy the day-to-day challenges of her role with the company.
